Nasrallah says sorry for the war
Hizbollah leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah has apologised to the Lebanese people for the war in which Israel killed more than a thousand people.
He says he had no idea the kidnapping of two soldiers would lead to such a devistating conflict. Israel's destruction of Lebanon did indeed stun the whole world.
He says plans are underway for him to meet UN head Kofi Annan to discuss the enlarged UN peacekeeping force in the South. And he confirmed mediators are dealing with Hizbollah and Israel to get an agreement on the release of the two Israelis. Nasrallah is demanding a prisoner swap.
