US blocks UN Security Council action on the Lebanon crisis
The US has stopped the Security Council from calling for a ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel.
Every other country supported the peace move.
The Lebanese government is shocked that the US has turned its back on them. They were our ally, they said, but "when it comes to Israel, it seems things changed."
