7 killed in another building collapse
7 people have been killed when a building collapsed in Aleppo.
Another 7 have been injured. The victims included a family of five with a 3 year old child.
A warning was issued when cracks started to appear, but some people decided to stay.
It is just weeks since another building collapsed in the city, leaving 4 people dead.
Many of the cities building were put up very quickly during the construction boom in the 1970s.

I used to wonder about the harshness meted out to those responsible. When the results become so painfully evident, I understand why. I have a feeling this is a bit of a ticking bomb in Syria. Egypt has a much worse problem, but it is also prevalent here as well. For the sake of a few extra lira's here and there, it's sickening..

MY question is ,Does restriction on importation and lack of enough concreet in Syria contribute to building poor structures?.
Syria is going into a building boome and beihg able to have the nessecery material is essential , I hope the goverment will either build another concreete factory or open importation.
