Israel wants negotiations with Syria
(I've been waiting for so many years to write that headline).
Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz said that "every war creates opportunities for an extensive diplomatic process," and that "we need to hold negotiations with Lebanon and lay the groundwork for negotiations with Syria."
And I have been saying for a long time that Israel only understand force ,their loss to Hizballa made them understand that they can not fight forever or winn all the time , I think now that Syria and Hzballa are victorius Syria should offer a final status negotiation between Israel on one side and Syria Hizballa and Hamas on the other side ,enough killing Israel can not fight forever and the Arabs only want what is rightly theirs ,so let us have a deal and a compleet peace .

Hezbollah and Syria are terrorist organizations, with leaders only interested in their own personal and political gain. It is not possible to have peace with this type of human. All they want is blood, and because they know it will never be their own blood, they are willing to continue these antics which cause tens of thousands of innocent people to suffer needlessly.

Dear Norman,
You understand nothing and you talk nonsense as if it was only true...
Ask your self a question: after one month: who stand in abettor poison then before one month? Hezbollah or Israel?
Who beg for cease-fire?
The Arabs made your mistake a few times before, in all of those times its end in the same way …my advice for you: learn from the history (or learn something…)

In addition, for you sasa I will say: let us hope that your president will be like Saadat (Egypt) and not like his father

you see thats the problem , israel and syria need to stop blaming each other and puch for peace between them without interference form any other country be it the USA or any other arab country ,
both countries have to understand that there will not be peace between them unless they ignore the arab/israeli conflict and focus on a syrian/israeli alliance imposed by a peace treaty
if israel and syria want peace they have to sit with each other and talk , and keep everyone else out , especially the USA because i personally think that its against their interest to have israel make peace treaties/alliances with neighbouring countries

if only the people of both countries demand their governments to start the peace talks , it would be hard with all the propaganda that is goin on both sides but the public should act and not just wait for their governments , i mean its been 33 years since the last war , what have we all accomplished to achieve peace in here , how long are we supposed to be in a state of war and emergency , thats not how i want to live my life , nobody does ?
