Army Day

Syria is today celebrating murder. A day which heaps dignity on men who carry arms.

The Syrian press is today singing about the Syrian Army's Lebanese peacekeeping mission - its most successful deployment since the war of liberation in the 1940s against the French.

The Movement is growing...

i was in syria in 1976 if it was not for the syrian arab army intrvetion ,the chriscitians would have been massacered syria lost 14000 of it,s youngest and brightest to save lebanon ,thanks to syria who should be proud of it,s army the army that saved lebanon when all the western countries ran away.the army of liberation not murder.

May Syria continue to protect the Arabs, and fight the Zionists.

God bless Syria, and protect it from Zion.

what a joke.

A country take over BY FORCE another country, refuses to leave -- and you guys call them HERO's?

Then I guess Israel should be viewed as hero's and not conquerers based on this dillusional theory.

What a joke.

Bottom line: Syria is a paper tiger, and the world knows ASSAD (and his father) were/are jokers...

Anon #2 - get your facts straight, (but of course your history is completely distorted) -- it was the Israeli's who saved the Christians...but your books, and propaganda cant show you that....

Only thing you hear and learn is :"Syria is great..."

BS.

I feel bad for you Anon#2.

HAHAHA, THE ISRALIES SAVED THE CHRISTIANS?? WAHTA DUMBASS

i agree to the last note ,i know , i am christian arab and i am proud of it.

Israel saved the Christians? Um, no. Israel hired Christian terrorists, like Samir Geagea to go and KILL the Christians, as well as Muslims, and Lebanese political figures, like the Prime Minister.

And Syria did not take over by force. The Lebanese begged for Syria to come.
