Anyone understand Condaleeza Rice? Spot the difference...
"Good neighbours dont close their borders to their neighbours" - is that the Syrian-Lebanese border or the Syrian-Iraqi border you mean? Which one are we not allowed to close?
"Syria is trying to strangle Lebanon economically" - but your sanctions against Syria aren't designed to strangle Syria, Ms Rice?
Thank you for visiting Lebanon - please come back soon.
Glad someone else noticed the irony. You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Rice talking about the egytp bombings:
"the horrific terrorist bombings". She vowed that Egypt and the US "will confront and defeat this scourge that knows no boundary and respects no creed".
Just imagine for one second that happened in damascus, and syrians were killed. would we get those same words? or would we get silence - and muted happiness?

Don't forget what the American sanctions did to Iraq... since 6th August 1990 they have been under sanctions.. where at least one and a half million Iraqis, mostly children, the frail and the elderly, have died as a direct result of the sanctions. Schools have also suffered, those with the capacity of 700 pupils actually have 4500 enrolled in them!
And just to add the icing on the cake, there has been an estimated 85% decline in oil production!
Now.. that’s strangling the Iraqi economy.. literally!!!
