Geography lesson from the BBC

The 'Fertile Cresent' apparently starts in Iraq, crosses through Lebanon and Syria and goes straight into Israel, dancing round but somehow not entering Palestine.

I like the non-chalance with which Israel is referred to amongst the other countries. As if it is a normal presence in the region.

Oh my Allah!
That's the Shi'ite Crescent Bu(ll)sh(it) & Co so wisely defined! What about Iran? Of course it's part of it, don't you see the conspiracy? The Crescent as in Islam and Green as in Shia! (it's black, I know)

Now, really, that's not to be unexpected. Check Angry Arab's last post for defamation big time. I should scoot before some con-arse takes me seriously.
